About BOFI

BOFI is a specialist consultancy business established in 2006 and based in the Adelaide hills, South Australia. Founder and principal Dr. Joanne Pimlott works independently or in association with colleagues in two main areas: education and professional development, and business development work. Joanne established BOFI following her successful experience as founder in 2002 of the Entrepreneurship, Commercialisation and Innovation Centre (ECIC) at The University of Adelaide where, until mid 2006, she worked as founder, first Director and Associate Professor, leading the establishment of the ECIC and working as Program Director of a Masters degree in Entrepreneurship.

Joanne has many year’s experience in the design, development and conduct of courses and programs in these fields:
leadership, change and innovation, professional communication, entrepreneurship, qualitative research skills and organisation development.

She works as an independent academic and has over 15 year's experience as a leadership and professional effectiveness coach in the private sector. 

Joanne’s work across both academic and business environments ensures there is a strong focus on the needs and interests of the client whilst maintaining an up to date awareness of the latest research and literature in these areas.
